Those in charge of the orphanage at the time were Antonio Hernandez Favela, Jose Hernandez Favela, Josefina Hernandez Favela and Guadalupe who was the wife of Jose and several whose last names I do not recall, Juan Gasca, the spouse of Josefina. Some treated us worse than others. For example, Juan, if he lost something, he would wake us in the early morning in the center patio area. If what he was looking for did not appear, he would hit us. Antonio as well as Jose would hit me. Josefina would grab me by the hair and drag me to the patio area when I was eight.

I was always trying to hide from Jose because he came after me often. I saw that a girl (alleged Victim) was being abused sexually. I was afraid he would do the same to me. One weekend, they had hit me and me with marks and bruises. The social worker came to visit us along with my mom. I told my mom that they had hit me and she told the social worker, who did nothing. When they left it became worse for me. They made fun of me and I was punished without food. Lastly, I want to manifest that Antonio tried to kiss me on the mouth, but I do not recall the date.
