I came to say that Antonio Hernandez Favela abused me, had sexual intercourse with me, and slept with me, while I was at Rancho El Milagro. I was 15 years old. Ever since I was 15 years old Antonio began to touch me. He would tell me that I was beautiful and that later I would have many boyfriends and they would like me. When I turned 15 years old Antonio asked me if I wanted to sleep with him. I told him no because I was under age and he told me I wasn’t and that I didn’t just turn 15, but 18 years old. He would constantly insist and he would always tell me that we should sleep together, so I began to think that if I slept with him he would treat my brothers and sisters better; so this is why I slept with him so he would treat them better because he would treat all of us badly. He would hit us with a stick that had a metal piece in the middle, he would he would pull our hair, he would throw a huge key chain full of keys at us and he would hit us in the face with his hand that had a ring with a big stone. Antonio would tell his brother Jose to hit the children when they became disobedient. Jose would then hit the children terribly with a stick, with a hose or a belt. I had sexual intercourse with Antonio many times, every time he wanted. Jose never touched me sexually, but he would tell us things. He would come into the girls intern rooms when we were already sleeping and he would touch their bodies, the legs of the other girls and he wanted to kiss them. He would tell me that I wasn’t a virgin and he would laugh, but I would tell him that I was. I think his brother Antonio told him. He didn’t threaten me with a weapon, but he would say that I was his girlfriend. I knew I wasn’t his girlfriend and that he only said it so he could keep touching me and be with me sexually. When we slept together it was in my room at the Rancho El Milagro. I don’t know if Antonio molested other girls, what I do know is that Jose touched other girls when he went into the dormitories. I remember a girl called “Another Alleged Victim”, she was one Jose touched. He also told me that if I wanted he would rent an apartment for me, but that nobody could come in but him. All I want is for an investigation to take place with the children that are there now so that they do not go through what we went through.
