Alleged Male Victim D

Friday, October 19th, 2007

John L. Swink this guy started to give Tony money and Tony started to trust in him. And Tony let him take the kids out with him to Ensenada and go fishing. Or take them to a hotel to sleep with him. I went two times. One time he kissed my genitals and I was about 12 years old. It was the first time I ejaculated. I felt weird but I thought it was normal because Tony let us go with this man.

Alleged Male Victim E

Friday, October 19th, 2007

John Swink, an American, came in a motor home and he parked it in the part above the campground area. Antonio Hernandez pointed out boys and we had to sleep with this man. He abused us, the boys. At night he came into the boy’s dormitory and had oral sex with some of the boys. He brought us to fish in Ensenada and also sexually abused us. These abuses happened in the boy’s dormitory at Rancho Milagro, in (John Swink’s) the motor home parked in the Rancho El Milagro campground, and in a hotel in Ensenada.

Alleged Male Victim F

Friday, October 19th, 2007

They would not believe us and if spoke out that things would get worse, I remember that when I was six years John L Swink raped me twice and abused me sexually several times. A day after the first time he raped me, we were gathered for dinner when he asked Antonio Hernandez if we could go sleep with him - pointing to me and two other children whose names I cannot recall. Antonio told us to go sleep with him and we left and went to a motor home that was inside the ranch. It was there that John raped me. I said nothing, I just cried and never said anything because I was so afraid. I thought it was my fault. I never said anything because I had heard that Jose Hernandez had made fun of us. We only spoke about it among ourselves. This happened many times but I am not sure if he did anything to the girls. But, My sister told me that Antonio Hernandez had touched her vagina and her breasts. My other sister told me that Antonio Hernandez had raped her.

Note to those fighting for justice and to the vicitms…

Monday, October 22nd, 2007

What a tremendous horror that the very ones who are in a possition to bring healing and love to orphans have allegedly used their position of trust and authority to victimize those who were the most helpless. I hope all of us who read these testimonies are drawn to action in an effort to ensure the safety of the children currently living at Miracle Ranch.

To those fighting for justice for the victims…you have my family’s full support. For those who were vicims, our heart breaks for you and we want you to know there are many many people who truely love you and want nothing but healing and justice for you.

American David Cathcart Was Jailed on Phony Charges and Freed in 2001 After Almost Seven Years

It was a set-up. For on that fateful day, Cathcart was arrested on four counts of child molestation and it took almost seven years for him to be cleared of those charges. A member of St. Timothy’s Catholic Church, Cathcart originally went to Mexico to investigate a possible misappropriation of his church’s donated funds by Gabriel Diego Garcia, director of the Door of Faith orphanage in Ensenada. After seeing Garcia drive a brand new Bronco and wear what appeared to be expensive looking clothes, Cathcart demanded to see the financial records of the establishment, an act that resulted in him being promptly escorted off the property.

But two weeks later, an American volunteer from the orphanage called Cathcart at his California home, claiming one of the children had been in an automobile accident and might not live. The child’s only request was to see Cathcart. He traveled back to Mexico and into that fateful parking lot, where plainclothes police officers, armed with machine guns, arrested him.

“He was lured down,” said attorney William Bollard, in a phone interview from his Irvine office.

Six years, nine months and 1 day later, Cathcart was free. In that time six of his grandchildren were born, two sons were married, the new St. Timothy’s Catholic Church building was built with funds he had helped to raise, and his father had passed away. One would think his faith and outlook on life would have been shaken to the very core. “It makes it stronger,” Cathcart says.

On May 28th, at 10:00 pm, the order was issued for Cathcart’s release. “I got the call at 10:30 to come pick him up,” remembers Bollard, who rushed over to the prison in his truck so quickly that guards thought he was staging a prison breakout and threatened him with machine guns.

“There are hundreds of Mexican citizens who have been framed,” Cathcart reported. “Good people who can’t afford lawyers.” Yet, through it all, Cathcart believes there is a positive side to all of this. “I want to make people aware of how corrupt the Baja system is,” he explains. “How dangerous it can be to go down there just to have fun.”

Shame on us…

Wednesday, October 31st, 2007

As a professional 10+ year former fraud investigator with in the banking industry having reviewed all the documents presented by Steve Schinhofen and the Miracle Ranch Orphanage Foundation I am shocked, appalled and fearful for those who “choose” not to get involved with this case to FIGHT the Godly, good fight for all the victims and the children still housed under the authority of Tony and Edna Hernandez.  I would challenge anyone being made aware of this crisis to actually take the time to “read” ALL the documents presented and methodically piece together the money trail, the history, the sexual predators allowed on scene and the timelines.  If at the end of a HONEST, TRUE and PROACTIVE paper work review and search you do not come to the same conclusion Steve Schinhofen, the attorney’s, certain pastors, other experts including the polygraph examiner and I have come to then respectfully you are not reading the same information and documents I personally reviewed.  This is fraud through and through…it’s about the love of money, which is the root of ALL evil.  These documents along with the testimonies of the now adult victims tell a heart breaking story LOUD and CLEAR without question.  Orphans are and have been sexually molested and abused for years at the hands of those who were called to care for them.  Disgraceful.  As followers of Jesus Christ we (you and I) will be held accountable if we willfully choose to not be involved.  As God’s people we must take a stand against this type evil while demanding accountability for the blaitant and inappropriate misuse of our funds donated to benefit the children.  God’s word says much about wisdom and obtaining it.  I hope that each of you will investigate and get to the truth behind this sad and painful story…it is time to stand up, fight and be counted.  Prayer is great and necessary but funding in essential to bring this case to a close and protect the children so please, please do your own home work and get involved to bring this madness to a halt.  If it is within your power to help financially…please, please do it.  The Lord will lead you as you seek answers in this…so please in the name of Jesus pray, seek and find out what God would have you do to help.
